BOSTON — A 44-year-old Salvadoran man, illegally present in the U.S., has been convicted federally after reentering the country following a prior deportation.
Arsenio Valladares pleaded guilty on July 7 in U.S. District Court in Massachusetts to one count of unlawful reentry by a deported alien.
“Arsenio Valladares not only showed complete disregard for U.S. immigration laws, but his presence here endangered community safety,” stated Patricia H. Hyde, acting Field Office Director for ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations in Boston. “With multiple violent crime convictions, he posed a real threat to those around him. ICE Boston remains committed to public safety by targeting and removing criminal noncitizens from New England.”…
