4-year-old who drowned in Brockton will be ‘loved forever and missed beyond words’

A 4-year-old boy who drowned in Brockton last month was remembered in his obituary as a joyful young boy who loved life.

Police were called to a home on Sunset Avenue around 3 p.m. on July 13 for a reported drowning. The boy, Hendrix Cooley-Walker, was rushed to a hospital but died hours later, around 1:30 a.m. on July 14.

“Though his time with us was brief, the love he gave and the light he brought will remain with us forever,” the boy’s obituary reads…
