The Randolph Police Department is currently investigating an incident of animal cruelty involving the abandonment of two approximately 11-week-old puppies which was believed to have taken place on or before Friday August 1st.
During the early evening hours, a passerby located one male and one female puppy along a pedestrian pathway between the Martin E. Young Elementary School and Barbara Road; thrown to the side by an unknown individual(s). This good Samaritan notified the Randolph Police Department, and the puppies were immediately transported to the Weymouth VCA for emergency care.
Unfortunately, shortly after arrival, it was determined that due to the extent of the condition of the male puppy, the most compassionate recourse was to provide him with a peaceful passing…
