Gov. Maura Healey is calling out Republic Services amid the trash strike impacting 14 communities across Greater Boston, now seven weeks long.

For the last month and a half, union workers at Republic Services have been on the picket lines demanding better pay and working conditions, while municipalities with Republic contracts have been on the hook for trash removal — replacement drivers have been working the routes, but collection is spotty and slow.
