A driver is facing a slew of charges over a year after he was allegedly part of a chaotic street takeover in Boston’s Back Bay that featured vehicles doing donuts and drag racing.
Caden Basir, a 20-year-old from West Boylston, is due in court Wednesday in connection with the chaotic April 21, 2024, event, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
He’s being charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle (subsequent offense), reckless operation, disturbing the peace, wanton destruction of property, conspiracy and civil motor vehicle violations, prosecutors said.
