Boston Juvenile Arrested in Roxbury Following Armed Robbery

BOSTON — On Thursday, August 21, 2025, Boston police officers assigned to District B-2 in Roxbury arrested a 17-year-old juvenile male in connection with an armed robbery and firearm offenses.

At approximately 4:34 p.m., officers responded to a report of a person with a gun in the area of 46 Zeigler Street. Officers, provided with a description of the suspects by Boston Police Operations, located them in the rear yard of 12 Bethune Way. As officers approached, one individual clutched his waistband and jumped over a fence. A foot pursuit ensued, and the suspect was stopped in a parking lot near Harrison Avenue.

Officers canvassing the area received a second 911 call reporting a person with a gun at 105 Zeigler Street. The individual was seen reaching into a backpack and was ordered to stop. He complied, and a firearm was recovered from the front pocket of his hooded sweatshirt. The weapon was identified as a SCCY CPX-2 with one round in the chamber.
