Neighbors of Declan Perry told police they saw a man carrying what looked like a “large, heavy blanket” out of Perry’s apartment and into the back of a car the same day his body was discovered outside a Massachusetts hospital.
Perry, 27, was found unresponsive in a black Honda Civic parked outside the emergency room at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, Mass. around 2:15 p.m. Saturday. He was later pronounced dead.
Investigators are now working to understand what happened to Perry and how his body was transported from his apartment in Portland, Maine, to the hospital more than two hours away.
The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office confirmed Monday that investigators are focusing on the man neighbors said they saw moving the body. Officials believe Perry and the unidentified individual knew each other, though they have not disclosed the nature of their relationship…
