For the second night in a row, Transit Police responded to Packards Corner early this morning after a driver proved unable to handle the intersection.
Unlike the previous night, however, this morning’s driver didn’t stick around to talk to the cops, who were therefore unable to discern if any intoxicating substances might have been at play in the 3 a.m. crash, or speed, or blinding lights from a low-flying plane or simple inability to deal with curves, or some combination.
Whatever the reason, police arrived to find a car that somehow got flung from a turn from Brighton Avenue onto the outbound Comm. Ave. service road onto the outbound tracks, through a fence and onto the outbound tracks…
