Weymouth Police Seize Firearms, Drugs, and Cash in Coordinated Raids, Three Suspects Charged

In a significant effort to combat drug-related crimes within the community, the Weymouth Police Narcotics Unit, backed by multiple agencies, raided two apartments on Washington Street, resulting in the confiscation of firearms, drugs, and cash. The official Facebook post of the Weymouth Police Department reported the bust at apartments 2204, and 2219 of 1335 Washington Street, which took place early Monday morning.

The coordinated action was a culmination of a detailed investigation into a drug trafficking organization. Weymouth Police joined forces with the DEA SRT, the DEA Task Force 2, ATF, MSP CINRET South, MSP Norfolk Detectives, Canton Police, Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit, Hingham Police K-9 Unit, and Quincy Police K-9 Unit to carry out the warrants.
