SALEM, Mass. (WWLP) – More than two dozen specialty breed dogs rescued from commercial breeders across the country will soon find refuge at the MSPCA-Angell at Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem.
The dogs, ranging in age from four months to seven years, include breeds such as Dachshunds, Beagles, and Husky mixes. They were rescued through a collaboration with the National Mill Dog Rescue, which works with commercial breeders nationwide to provide better options for dogs in their facilities.
