Progress highlighted in reducing illegal guns and narcotics in these Massachusetts communities

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Healey-Driscoll Administration showcased the progress of the 2025 Commonwealth Project Safe Neighborhood Initiative at a public safety roundtable in Brockton, highlighting efforts to reduce crime and enhance community safety through collaboration with law enforcement and community organizations.

The initiative, a multi-year public safety partnership, involves District Attorneys, Massachusetts State Police, municipal law enforcement agencies, and community organizations working together to reduce violent crime, address illegal firearms and narcotics distribution, and invest in prevention programs.
