A 47-year-old man accused of shooting another man in the leg in Saugus’ Cliftondale Square following a road-rage incident Wednesday night had his bail set at $50,00 during his arraignment in Lynn District Court.
Stephen Cooper, of Saugus, is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, two counts of assault and battery, disorderly conduct, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building and assault and battery with a firearm, Essex County District Attorney Paul Tucker’s office said.
