BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Several service changes are scheduled for the Orange and Green lines in October.
Service will be halted on the Green Line in order for the MBTA to continue installing the Green Line Train Protection System infrastructure. Suspension will take place between North Station and Medford/Tufts, beginning Friday, Oct. 3, at 8:00 p.m. until Sunday, Oct. 5.
While free shuttle buses will replace service between the two stops, commuters should note that there will be no shuttle bus service at Union Square. Riders are encouraged to utilize area bus routes instead…
