Popular Boston museum is offering $10M reward for culprits in 35-year-old art heist

Boston is home to several treasures, from Fenway Park to the site of the Tea Party protests. But one museum isn’t just known for its historic artifacts – it’s also become famous for the largest unsolved art heist in history.

Named after it’s founder, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston, Massachusetts, offers three floors of artwork, gardens and unique architecture. But some of its most interesting history took place in the 1990s.

The tourist destination was subject to an art heist on March 18, 1990, and the culprits and stolen art still haven’t been found. The museum is even still offering a reward of $10 million for any information leading to the recovery of the art.
