Police investigating ‘unattended death’ in Boston

Police are investigating an “unattended death” in Boston on Monday morning.

Police responded to the area of Charles Street and Storrow Drive shortly after 8 a.m. Aerial video from the scene showed several Massachusetts State Police troopers and Boston police officers in the area with a body on the ground nearby.

State police, who are leading the investigation, said they responded to an “unattended death” in the Mass Eye and Ear parking lot along Storrow Drive. They said preliminary information indicates the person died as a result of “self harm,” though that remains under investigation. The person’s identity was not released…
