Person killed by Boston University shuttle bus IDed as Saudi woman

The pedestrian fatally struck by Boston University shuttle bus by the Boston Medical Center last week was identified Thursday as a woman from Saudi Arabia, officials said.

Alhanouf Alhazzaa, 40, was hit by the bus just before 8 a.m. Oct. 6 on Albany Street, close to the hospital. She was pinned underneath the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
