Mattapan Man, Tyronne Burris, Accused of Larceny and Theft of Over $55K in Property, Arrested in Roxbury

Yesterday morning, Boston Police apprehended Tyronne Burris, a 49-year-old Mattapan resident, after actively pursuing him in connection with multiple counts of larceny and other charges. The arrest was made at approximately 10:00 AM in the area of 895 Massachusetts Avenue, as detailed by the Boston Police Department’s official release.

Officers from the Boston Police Fugitive Unit, along with District B-2 (Roxbury) team members, moved to swiftly execute the arrest of Burris. Burris was on the police’s radar with five warrants due issued from the Boston Municipal Court, ensnaring him in charges that include five counts of larceny over $1,200 and receiving stolen property, as well as two counts of being a common and notorious thief.
