Allston car wash workers released from ICE custody 2 weeks after raid, lawyer says

Two weeks after a federal raid at a Boston car wash led to the arrest of nine immigrant workers, their lawyer said that three of them were released.

Immigration attorney Todd Pomerleau, who represents all nine Allston Car Wash workers, said late Tuesday that the trio were released and headed home to their families after what’s been a frustrating and painful wait.

The three workers — 35-year-old Yuli Mendez Luarca of Guatemala, 67-year-old Dairo Preciado of Colombia and 20-year-old Jose Enriquez Sagastume of Honduras — were granted bond Monday, according to Pomerleau…
