On Wednesday afternoon, a routine police response in Dorchester escalated into a foot chase culminating in a sizeable drug bust. A report concerning a potential armed robbery brought officers to the vicinity of 262 E 8th Street, with Boston Police Operations noting to officers that the suspect had entered a Bodega with his face obscured by a bandana and a hand at his waistband, as detailed by the Boston Police Department.
