Boston Police Department’s District B-2 detectives are reaching out to the community for help in identifying a suspect involved in the theft of a firearm from a vehicle. The incident occurred in the early hours of November 29, at about 4:07 AM, near 46 Monadnock Street in Roxbury. According to the official Boston Police Department statement, the suspect is a light-skinned male, seen wearing a black winter hat, a jacket that could be either gray or olive green, a black hooded sweatshirt, baggy black pants, and sneakers that are white with black.
The man was last observed heading toward East Cottage Street from Dudley Street. He reportedly entered and took a loaded firearm from an individual’s car, setting off an investigation by local authorities. Detectives are diligently reviewing the evidence, however, they are in need of further assistance to bring the case to a close.
