Gang members indicted in interstate drug trafficking case

BOSTON (WWLP) – Two alleged gang members previously convicted in violent and drug-related cases have been indicted on federal drug trafficking and firearm charges connected to a multistate investigation.

A grand jury indicted 42-year-old Stanley Earl Jenkins, also known as “Poolside Stixx,” of Boston, and 22-year-old Xavier Puello, known as “Bodega,” of Lawrence, on conspiracy and drug and firearms charges.

Both were also charged with possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. The defendants, who are currently in state custody, appeared in federal court in Boston earlier in the day. According to court documents, Jenkins is a member of the Franklin Hill street gang and was on federal supervised release at the time of the alleged offenses.

He was previously sentenced to 15 years in state prison after being convicted in 2013 of two counts of manslaughter for a 2007 shooting that killed two people in the Franklin Hill Projects…
