Boston firefighters responded to 20 Normandy St., between Intervale Street and Lawrence Avenue in Dorchester, for what turned into a three-alarm fire around 8 p.m. on Friday.
The Boston Fire Department reports the fire broke through the roof of the house before it was brought under control.
The department reports no injuries – firefighters had to exercise extra caution since the water they were using froze on the ground – and that the building’s one resident was not home at the time…
