U.S. Attorney Leah Foley said the suspects allegedly redeemed over $7 million in SNAP benefits from two small storefronts in the Mattapan neighborhood in Boston. A news conference was held to announce that they are being charged with food stamp fraud in connection with the trafficking of nearly $7 million worth of SNAP benefits.
