Former Logan TSA officer charged with nearly $50K in unemployment fraud

A Worcester man was charged in connection with fraudulently obtaining tens of thousands of dollars in Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) while working as a full-time TSA Security Officer, according to the office of Leah Foley, the U.S. attorney for Massachusetts.

Ismael Rosado Jr., 40, was charged with one count of wire fraud, a Wednesday press release from the office reads. He will appear in federal court in Boston at a later date, according to the press release.

Rosado was employed full-time as a TSA Security Officer at Boston Logan International Airport from November 2018 through October 2021, according to the press release…
