A Marshfield man has been taken into police custody after deceiving elderly residents at the Linden Ponds senior living complex. Kevaughn R. Fagan, 28, allegedly posed as a ride-share driver to enter the complex and a junk removal worker inside, in a scheme to steal and fraudulently use a credit card belonging to one of the residents.
According to the Hingham Police’s social media post, the scheme came to light on December 7, when a resident reported his credit card missing and later discovered it had been used several times the previous day. The suspect had allegedly taken advantage of an unlocked apartment to commit the theft.
