The arrest of a previously unidentified third suspect linked to a Brockton shooting in July 2024, which resulted in the death of Romualdy Pierre-Charles, marks a significant development in the case. According to a post shared by Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz, Victor Oliviera, 22, was apprehended at his Brockton home and faced arraignment earlier today.
Oliviera is now facing multiple charges: First-Degree Murder, illegal firearm possession and use, and assault with a dangerous weapon. As reported by Tim Cruz, Oliviera was detained yesterday, and, this morning, held in custody without bail. The co-defendants, Govanni Carapinha and Marcus Miranda, were similarly arraigned in August and remain in custody without the opportunity for release.
