Mass. weather: What time will it start snowing on Friday?

Friday’s storm is set to drop up to 7 inches of snow on some parts of Massachusetts, and while most of the accumulation will happen overnight, it could begin sooner in some places.

According to the National Weather Service, a clipper system is expected to move across the state on Friday night into Saturday morning.

Western Mass. will be the first part of the state affected by the storm, as snow is expected to begin falling sometime after 4 p.m. Snowfall is set to pick up by 7 p.m. and continue overnight, with Springfield expected to receive 2 to 5 inches and up to 7 inches possible in the southern part of Berkshire County…
