SALEM, Mass. (WWLP) – A Salem man was arraigned in connection with the possession of illegal firearms and materials used to create explosive devices.
The Massachusetts State Police stated that on December 15, troopers received information that 42-year-old Patrick Gordon had reportedly ordered and shipped large capacity magazines to his mother’s home in Bedford, New Hampshire.

Gordon, who does not have a valid license to carry or a firearm identification card (FID), was also believed to have ordered multiple firearm-related items and a kit that can be used to create four pounds of thermite to his Harbor Street apartment in Salem over the past six months.
On December 22, investigators executed a search warrant at Gordon’s apartment, where they found numerous firearm components that violated Massachusetts gun laws. This included firearm parts commonly used in assault rifles and a 3D printer that the Attorney General’s Office alleges was used to manufacture ghost guns…
