College Students Meet on Shuttle Bus. Four Years Later, They Get Engaged on Same Ride

One couple is taking it back to where it all began.

Thomas Scordino, a finance and marketing major at Boston College, enlisted the help of the college’s Office of Transportation and Parking to propose to his girlfriend, Sophia Paranzino, in the spot where they first met as freshmen: the center aisle of a Newton shuttle bus.

“He was wearing a Johns Hopkins shirt and I’m from Baltimore, so I asked about it,” Paranzino recalled to Boston College News. “Then we talked for the rest of the ride.”…
