A shoplifting spree spanning multiple states has come to an end with the arrest of a suspect in South Boston. According to information provided by the Boston Police Department, Long Tran, a 54-year-old Dorchester resident, was detained after allegedly attempting to conceal merchandise at a Target store on Allstate Road last Tuesday.
Tipped off by a report on December 30, officers from District C-6 arrived at the scene around 4:49 p.m. to find the suspect, who had been previously banned from the store in November, allegedly stuffing 27 bottles of lotion into a large duffel bag.
