Dedham Officials Seek Public’s Help After Beheaded Birds Found Near Mother Brook Reservation

In a disquieting incident near the Mother Brook Reservation in Dedham, local officials are appealing to the public for information after several beheaded birds were found. The gruesome discovery was made off the bridge on Sawmill Lane, where the birds were dumped, landing on the icy surface below.

According to a social media post from Dedham Animal Control, the birds, which were a variety of domestic species, are believed to have been decapitated and disposed of over the weekend of December 27th to 28th. The Dedham Animal Control is urging anyone with knowledge about the incident or who may have witnessed any suspicious activity to come forward.
