Boston man plans to give away $25,000 a year for life lottery prize

A man from Boston who won the lottery plans to give away much of his $25,000 a year for life prize.

Edwin Lovemore, resident of the Mattapan neighborhood in Boston, won $25,000 a year for life playing “Lucky for Life” on Sept. 25. He came forward on Dec. 18 to claim his prize.

Lovemore chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $390,000 before taxes. He told the lottery he plans on helping his family, the church and donating the prize to charity…
