Boston Police Probe Shooting in Roxbury and Linked Dorchester Car Crash, Suspect At Large

Boston Police Department is actively working a pair of incidents in the city that may be linked: a shooting in Roxbury followed by a getaway car crash in nearby Dorchester last night. The first incident left a 40-year-old man with non-life-threatening injuries after he was shot on Brook Avenue in Roxbury, as reported by NBC Boston. The vehicle believed to be associated with the shooting later crashed at the intersection of Folsom Street and Harlow Street, according to the same source.

As of yet, no arrests have been made in connection with the incidents. Boston Police confirmed that the unidentified man was taken to the hospital following the Roxbury shooting, which took place around 8:30 p.m. the same evening. The suspected shooter reportedly fled the scene in a car that was involved in a collision shortly afterward, according to authorities.
