BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — More than 150 barn animals are recovering at MSCPA-Angell facilities after being rescued from a Hadley farm due to alleged animal neglect and cruelty.
According to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA-Angell), the organization’s law enforcement team executed a warranted search and seizure at the property on Lawrence Plain Road with the help of Hadley Police on Wednesday.
“Many of the animals lacked access to food and water,” Chris Schindler, MSPCA-Angell Law Enforcement Director, said. “The majority were also living outdoors without adequate protection from the elements.”…
