Two dozen protesters gathered in the single-digit temperatures Saturday morning outside the Citizens Bank in Coolidge Corner with signs, cowbells and tambourines to protest the bank’s role in financing immigration detention centers.
It was one of 40 demonstrations happening at Citizens branches across the Northeast.
“It’s very important that we challenge the corporations that are cooperating with the current administration,” said protester Charlie Homer. “People who are trying to ruin our democracy are expecting corporations like Citizens Bank to obey and cooperate with their efforts.”…
