Boston hospital mourns researcher killed by snow plow in MBTA lot

The woman killed by a snow plow in Norwood on Sunday was a talented researcher for nearly 20 years at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) with “rare ability,” according to a spokesperson for the hospital.

Noriko Rapley, 51, of Norwood, died on Sunday after she and her 47-year-old husband were hit by a snow plow at around 2 p.m. in the MBTA Norwood Central parking lot, Norwood police said.
