The Draft Bar and Grille in Allston, a popular watering hole for students, was closed indefinitely on Jan. 8 after the Boston Licensing Board suspended the bar’s liquor license for repeated violation of underage drinking laws.
This decision followed an Oct. 16 incident where police officers found three underage people drinking at the bar. Around 75 to 100 people left when they realized police were scanning IDs, according to Boston Police Detective Eddie Hernandez’s statement at a Boston Licensing Board meeting.
