LYNN — Seven Lynn Police Department officers were promoted during a ceremony Monday evening at City Hall, where family members, city officials, and colleagues gathered to honor years of dedication, sacrifice, and service to the community. The event served as both a professional milestone for the officers and a heartfelt moment of appreciation for the families and supporters who stood beside them throughout their careers.
“You don’t get here easily. This tremendous sacrifice on part of each of them, not only developing their career,” Chief Christopher Reddy began the ceremony, “… the process of studying, the exam, and achieving this accomplishment requires a lot of work. What we all know: We don’t do it alone.”
