Another Gov. Shutdown Causes Trouble At Logan Airport

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Dozens of flight delays and cancellations kicked off Valentine’s Day at Boston Logan Airport, following the first day of another government shutdown impacting the Department of Homeland Security.

It’s been over three months since a 43-day Government-wide shutdown ended back in November. After Congress failed to pass a bill to fund operations for Homeland Security amid ICE operation disputes, the department temporarily shut down.

The DHS shutdown is now affecting TSA agents across the country as they work without pay. While travelers are flustered, they do have sympathy for airport security…
