Recent actions by the Boston Police Department’s drug control units have led to a significant drug bust this week. On Wednesday, officers from both the Citywide and B-2 (Roxbury) Drug Control Units arrested 51-year-old Armando Travieso of Boston on charges related to drug trafficking. According to the Boston Police Department, the arrest followed the execution of two search warrants linked to their ongoing narcotics investigation.
The search warrants, one targeting the individual connected to the investigation and the other for a Dorchester residence at 7 Intervale Street, resulted in the discovery of a substantial quantity of illegal substances. The confiscated drugs amount to approximately 539 grams of Fentanyl, 78 grams of Cocaine, along with the seizure of about $15,582 in U.S. currency.
