The storm heading to Boston is developing and becoming a powerful nor’easter. We’re expecting blizzard conditions, damaging wind, power outages, 1-2 feet of snow and coastal flooding for three high tides.

Timing the storm Sunday-Monday
A blizzard warning has been issued for Boston and the entire coast of Massachusetts.
By 8 p.m. Sunday, be in place for where you need or want to be for a couple of days (until possibly, Tuesday).
The snow rates ramp up overnight Sunday, when 1-3-inch-per-hour snow rates are likely, with a strong northeast wind. And the snow is relentless through mid morning on Monday.
Midday through evening, the bands start to move out from west to east, with the storm heading toward Nova Scotia Canada by Tuesday morning.
When will the heaviest snow fall? From 10 p.m. Sunday to noon Monday.
