SCHODACK, N.Y. (WRGB) — Police have arrested a Massachusetts man in connection with a $15,000 scam in Schodack.
Jianbin Chen, 22, of Quincy, was taken into custody during a police sting on Saturday.
Investigators say scammers told the victim they needed remote access to his computer on Friday, then directed him to withdraw $15,000 and hand it to a courier. Police say the victim became suspicious on Saturday, when scammers demanded another $14,000…
