From seaside havens to sophisticated suburbs, Yankee Magazine has announced the 25 best small towns in New England to call home, and five Massachusetts towns made the cut.
The top choices were made after the magazine covered all six states within New England and evaluated communities based on factors like natural beauty, cultural attractions and community character. The list appears in the magazine’s March/April issue.
“This year’s edition of our Best Places to Live series celebrates New England’s most timeless institution: its small towns,” Yankee executive editor Ian Aldrich said in a statement. “These places, with their community-connected Main Streets and promise of tranquility, have never been more appealing than right now.”…
