Wellesley residents arrested after Boston home invasion leaves man with gunshot wound

Boston police arrested a Wellesley man and woman last week in connection with a home invasion from January during which a Dorchester man was shot.

Justin Martin, 31, and Jahde Nitschke, 18, have both been charged with home invasion and assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon out of Dorchester District Court, Boston police said in a press release. Martin is also facing one count of assault and battery by discharging a firearm and three illegal gun charges.

Boston police began investigating the home invasion after receiving a call from Boston Medical Center reporting a walk-in gunshot wound victim on Jan. 25, the police department said.
