On Dec. 27, 1989, two women were raped at gunpoint in the now closed Hit-or-Miss store in Framingham. On Tuesday, more than 36 years later, the man authorities alleged committed the rapes is scheduled to go to trial.
Jury selection is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, March 3, in Stephen Paul Gale’s Middlesex Superior Court trial. Gale, now 72, is charged with four counts of aggravated rape; two counts of kidnapping; and a single count of armed robbery.
