A Webster man is facing charges including animal cruelty after leaving two puppies in a car without heat to flee from Boston police, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office announced Thursday.
Kyle Kelley, 25, pleaded not guilty to animal cruelty, witness intimidation, resisting arrest and two charges of drug possession with intent to distribute in connection with the incident, according to court records.
The charges stem from a March 2 incident that began after officers were called to Annunciation Road in Roxbury for a report that two men were trying to break into a home, the district attorney’s office said in a press release.
