Natick Police offer internet sales safety tips after attempted robbery

Natick Police said an attempted robbery of a woman on Tuesday, March 10, at the Natick Mall is an example of how dangerous it can be to meet up with strangers to buy and sell items.

Police Lt. Chad Howard said the woman, with the help of good Samaritans, stopped the alleged robber and preserved her $27,000 diamond, but things could have gone a lot worse.
