A person was shot in Boston’s South End Sunday night, hours after hundreds of thousands of people flooded the streets of nearby Southie as the city celebrated its annual St. Patrick’s Day parade.
Boston police say officers responded around 7:42 p.m. to the area of Washington Street and East Berkeley Street for a reported shooting, and arrived to find one victim, who was taken to a local hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
