17 Arrested After Huge St. Patrick’s Day Brawl Breaks Out In Boston [VIDEO]

2026 St. Patrick’s Day saw a lot of people getting loose and paying for it. Last year, police arrested nine people the day of the parade, while four were summoned to court after the incidents.

Authorities warned attendees that they would not tolerate underage and public drinking (both illegal) and that they would have a zero-tolerance policy for violence. Boston Police Commissioner Michael Cox made himself very clear on Thursday, but things didn’t go as expected.

“It’s meant to be a family-friendly event,” Cox said at a press conference. “Not a drink fest.”
