A man shot by Brockton police early Sunday is now facing more than a dozen charges in connection with the incident, after the gunfight with the officers injured man as he slept in his nearby home.
Jailson Andrade, 44, of Brockton, was charged Monday out of Brockton District Court with 14 separate counts, ranging from assault to murder to traffic violations, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.
At around 2:15 a.m. on Sunday, Andrade was driving a 2025 white Lexus when he led two Brockton police officers on a pursuit. It ended with Andrade spinning out at the intersection of Moraine and Spring Streets, the district attorney’s office said…
